“Anna’s Diary” is based on the 1937 diary of Rostov schoolgirl Anna Bulgakova. The handwritten text, enriched with modern elements, is presented in dialogue with archival photographs and newspapers. The project explores the everyday life and self-censorship of a teenager within the diary, set against the backdrop of propaganda and censorship under a totalitarian regime. It creates a conversation between past and present, personal and political.

“Дневник А.” основан на дневнике ростовской школьницы Аллы Булгаковой 1937 года. Рукописный текст с современными элементами оформлен в диалоге с архивными фотографиями и газетами. Проект исследует будничность и самоцензуру подростка в дневнике на фоне пропаганды и цензуры в условиях тоталитарного режима, создавая диалог между прошлым и настоящим, личным и общественным.
